- Transgression of divine law: the sin of Adam.
- Any act regarded as such a transgression, especially a willful or deliberate violation of some religious or moral principle.

LAWLESSNESS – disobeying His commandments
What is John saying?
- Sin is breaking Yahweh’s commandments
- Yeshua appeared to take away the breaking of Yahweh’s commandments
- In Yeshua there is no breaking of Yahweh’s commandments because He kept them
- No one following Yeshua lives a life continually breaking Yahweh’s commandments
- No one who continues to break Yahweh’s commandments has seen Yeshua or knows Yeshua
What is Repentance?
Repentance is the act of leaving what God has prohibited and returning to what he has commanded. The word denotes the act of being repentant for one’s misdeeds, atoning for those misdeeds, and having a strong determination to forsake those misdeeds (remorse, resolution, and repentance).

Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand! – Matthew 3:2
Turn away from breaking Yahweh’s commandments because His Kingdom is coming and there will be no breaking of His commandments in His Kingdom.
What is Atonement?
Atonement is making amends, paying the price for breaking Yahweh’s commandments. Man was not able to pay the price so Yahweh sent Yeshua.
He lived a life without breaking Yahweh’s commandments. Making Him an acceptable offering to Yahweh (a lamb without spot or blemish) to pay the high cost of our disobedience.
He died (making the atonement) for all of mankind. After His resurrection he became our Savior and King.
Before Yeshua came to Earth Yahweh gave the children of Israel animal sacrifices to atone for breaking His commandments each year. But this could not pay the eternal price, Yeshua did that.
For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement. Leviticus 17:11
Yeshua’s blood that was shed paid the price (Death) for our disobedience.
So What Now?
What is our responsibility to sin, transgression of divine law if we want to be children in Yahweh’s kingdom?

Accept Yeshua’s sacrifice in your heart as payment for our sin.
Yeshua knew that not everyone would stop breaking Yahweh’s commandments that’s why He said this…
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness. – Mathew 7:21-23
LAWLESSNESS = BREAKING YAHWEH’S COMMANDMENTS = SIN
People of Yeshua, don’t deceive yourself…
The antichrist is called the man of lawlessness because he will not keep Yahweh’s commandments and he will encourage us to do the same. Just look at what’s in social media, movies, and television, they all promote disobeying Yahweh’s truth. They tell you to find your own truth, there is no absolute truth, and live your best life now.

Then that lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will eliminate with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not accept the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness. 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12
